Alright, the forecast is out: fall means changing of the leaves, and boy do we have a good outlooks for this year in Colorado! Pine Grove has an abundance of Aspen trees, so the bright yellows mixed with the deep green of the evergreens and the earthy tones of the rocks and dirt make for breathtaking photographs!
The 2022 Season looks right on schedule: trees right in Pine are likely to have peak color late September through mid October, but the drive to Pine from Hwy 285 starts having gorgeous foliage around mid-September. We are still in a drought in the area, but it's eased a bit with some. monsoon rains, so the forecast is set to be better than last year!
We plan on taking some early morning chilly hikes to catch the sunrise, and then taking pictures around the area to really capture that beauty. We hate seeing summer go, but LOVE the welcome of Fall!
