Temperature Control

Heating:

Wall Heaters next to the Kitchen Sink and in the Master Bedroom
Wall Heater with thermostat in Bathroom. This is an infrared heater, so it won't blow air, but rather heats the objects within its path
Space Heaters - located throughout the cabin
Gas powered fireplace - please see the video here on how to light and operate it
In-floor radiant heating - we have a loop system with the water heater that circulates hot water constantly throughout the cabin, ensuring a baseline warmth even when you are away on adventures!

Cooling:

Fans in every room
Travel sized evaporative cooler in the Master Bedroom
Windows that can open
Keep in mind that most of the windows are original to construction, so some will open easier than others!

Technology Notice!

Throughout the cabin, you might find several small Govee thermometers. Since the cabin is unoccupied for days at a time during the wintertime, we use these wifi thermometers to monitor the temperatures and make sure pipes don't freeze! They are simple in design and do nothing other than monitor the temperature and humidity levels!
